City Supports Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2025

Jakarta Provincial Government through Tourism and Creative Economy Agency supports the implementation of Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2025.

This biggest jazz music festival will be held on May 30 to June 1, 2025 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. It brings theme 'Unleashing Harmony: A Joyful Celebration of Sound".

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency Head, Andhoka Permata, said The Java Jazz Festival is an important part of strengthening Jakarta's position as a creative and global city. At the same time, it encourages the growth of tourism, culture, and the creative economy.

"This international event is part of our effort realizing Jakarta as a dynamic, creative and full of inspiration global city," he said, Friday (5/2).

He added that this festival is inline with Jakarta Provincial Government big mission during Enjoy Jakarta campaign and Jakarta Creative.

"Also part of Jakarta's 500th anniversary," he added.

Andhika explained the visitors of Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2025 will be invited to visit prime destinations namely Kota Tua, Monas, Seribu Island, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, as well as shopping centers such as Grand Indonesia and Senayan City.

As for information, Jakarta International BNI Java Jazz Festival 2025 is a special celebration, because it is entering its 20th year.

PT Java Festival Production as the committee will involve more than 100 both national and international musicians on 11 stages for three days.

Those are Jacob Collier, Raye, Tunde – The Voice of Lighthouse Family, UMI, Lee Ritenour, Snarky Puppy, Busty and The Bass,  Kamasi Washington, Jesus Molina, Straight No Chaser, Maliq & D'Essentials, Kris Dayanti, RAN, Bilal Indrajaya, and many more.

There is also Special Project that performs Andien, Barry Likumahuwa, Elfa Zulham, Indra Aziz, Maliq & D'Essentials, Nikita Dompas, Rafi Muhammad, Teddy Adhitya, Tompi in a stage.

Up to now, tourists from more than 30 countries including Maaysia, Singapore, Austrlia, US, England, India, Taiwan, South Korea, and Netherland have bought the tickets of this festival.

Meanwhile, domestic tourists from Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, and up to Medan are also ready to enliven the event.

The presence of thousands of tourists is expected to make a significant contribution to the hospitality, restaurant, transportation, and creative economy sectors in Jakarta.
